At Last, Fall is Here!

Greetings to my Friends and those who are visiting my blog for the first time - a BIG Texas welcome to you all!

Well, it's finally here - my favorite time of the year when the air becomes cooler with a crisp hint of sweater weather and fireplaces... leaves turning gorgeous colors almost overnight, and high school football and marching bands- it doesn't get any better! I can't help it - I'm just a Fall baby down to my bones...

  Who is Operation Smile™?

Every three minutes, a child is born with a cleft lip or cleft palate. Facial deformities like these can result in difficulty speaking, malnourishment, and social ostracism. Operation Smile, an international non-profit, organizes volunteers and resources to aid these children, their parents, and their communities by performing life-saving surgeries and advocating for sustainable healthcare systems.(For more information, click on the Operation Smile tab on the home page.
